STEALTH DAVE

Stealth Dave is a T5 SWL, He started life as a workhorse suffering abuse in his early years, but in july 2012 Johnny decided enough was enough, Dave needed some TLC. With lots of left over astroturf lying around, it was decided it would be used for Daves big makeover, and so his transformation began. Johnnys plans for dave didnt stop there, After being lined and insulated and the electrics done, the scafold plank floor went down, Internal storgae units were made out of pallets from Reimo deliveries and dave's new Garden shed look was taking form. The next stage of Daves transfromation was to fit a Reimo bike and surf bed, originally a brown and green vinyl was chosen for the unpholstery, but johnny had a better idea. Why not cover everything in blue and white striped deckchair fabric? And so it was done, however this was not quite the end..... a galvanised bucket was chosen for the sink and a statment red watering can was used in place of a traditional tap. Daves interior was now complete, but still his makeover was not yet finished. Cartoon artist Cookie was called in to work his magic on dave. With his paints and dangerously creative mind cookie set to work on paiting the barn door panels with a excentric beach scene, as well as hand painting the grills,door mirror apertures, hinges, VW badges and even Alloys in a bamboo wood effect. After a week of hard graft and patience from all who contribued Stealth Dave emerged from the workshop a new man(Van). 4 Years on and stealth Dave is still going strong, turning heads wherever he goes!!
